About me

Dena Pruett is a fiction writer whose work blends the uncanny with the intimate, walking the line between domestic realism and the gently unhinged. She’s interested in the humor inside horror, the absurdity inside grief, and the small domestic rituals that turn mythic when you’re not looking. She received her MFA from the Mississippi University for Women. Her work has appeared in New Ohio Review, storySouth, and After Dinner Conversation. She lives and writes in Birmingham, Alabama.
